What is the Road Association
Purpose
The Butterfield Stagecoach Road Association (BSRA) was created to maintain the roads in the community, including the maintenance of the gate located at the top of the switchback on Elk Mountain Trail.
The BRSA also coordinates snow plowing efforts.
It is important to note that the BRSA is not a homeowner’s association and does not require any association dues.
Location
The community is the area starting at the intersection of South Maxwell Hill Road and Elk Mountain Trail and continuing north and east.
The roads included in the Road Association are:
- Elk Mountain Trail
- Flat Top Trail
- High Country Trail
- Majestic Eagle Drive
- Saddle Mountain Trail
- Shiloh Point Drive
Members
The association is made up of Community Members who are residents and land owners in the Community.
Community members are responsible for following:
- Paying the voluntary yearly amount set by the community
- Supporting road work and snow plowing with use of personal equipment
- Volunteering time for road work and snow plowing
- Donating food and drinks for the road maintenance workers
- Attending scheduled community meetings
